Loraine Rasmussen Floor Lamp November 13th, 2018 - 17:53:10
This night lamp, was it to look like it's floating and was easy to build and also I wanted, but to give us amazing, looking sunset colors, which I really love. So, let's don't waste any time and start building. You will need two wood boards, one board of 1.5 by 1.5, two hundred ten centimeters length, another three by three sixty centimeters length from a fin aboard, I will be making clams frame and from Africa board lambs base is to cut all parts for the lamp from Athena board, you will need to cut eight parts of fourteen centimeters, three parts of twenty-five centimeters, one part of twenty-three centimeters and from Africa board.
You will need to cut four parts of twelve centimeters, then using just a jigsaw. It's quite hard to cut the wooden board at a perfect square angle, so one useful tip is to cut all parts longer by around two centimeters, then press all the parts with a clamp and cut v ends after you have finished, cutting the wood parts of a lamp.
It's time to start gluing, I used a standard PVA glue just because at that time that's what I had and I thought it's good enough. However, after the build I bought some higher, it would glue and tested it versus a standard known his glue, and I can say that the difference was quite huge. Cheap glue couldn't hold on and break while premium glue, just ripped off a part of plywood. So just don't use the cheapest glue if you want a robust bond.
