The 32 bedroom Nashville Ronald McDonald House is not a motel, it is a home for families. The House provides an environment of emotional support from staff members, volunteers and other families - families who are going through similar circumstances, families who understand.

Since its opening in July, 1991, over 9,100 families have stayed at the Nashville Ronald McDonald House. These families came from all of Tennessee's 95 counties as well as 37 other states and 11 foreign countries. Last year, our House served 600 families whose average length of stays was 18 nights.

The operation of the Ronald McDonald House depends solely on community support and donations for its entire operating expenses and for 95% of its capital expenses. As a result, donations from individuals, companies, and organizations play a very integral part in our attempt to keep operating expenses to a minimum so that more funds can be devoted to the families' needs. Through your ongoing generosity, we can continue to provide understanding, shelter, emotional support and a homelike environment to families in need.
